Mary Michael Wagner is a certified master somatic coach and a certified integral coach from New Ventures West. She studied for five years in Staci Haines' Somatics & Trauma Training and also depth hypnosis studies with the Anam Cara Foundation. In her private practice, she synthesizes these modalities to best serve the individual needs of her clients.

She taught creative writing for five years at San Francisco State University and at Delancy Street, a residential program for prison parolees. Her fiction has been awarded an O. Henry Award and a Pushcart Prize. Her writing has appeared in such magazines as the Southern Review, Alaska Quarterly Review, Story Quarterly, Cream City Review, ZYZZYVA and Spoon River Quarterly. Her plays have been workshopped or performed at the Drama League of New York, Actors Theater of Louisville and San Francisco’s Magic Theater and Eureka Theater.

She has taught full-force self-defense to women and teens for 15 years at Impact Bay Area, a nonprofit organization committed to fostering safe communities.
